02/16/2020 ”Vehicle Hit and Run"

On the evening of Sunday February 16th a Deputy was dispatched to a call of a Hit and Run. The Deputy arrived to find a Black 1967 Camaro had crashed into the foundations of a house. The deputy ran the license plate and VIN number and found who the car belonged to.

The owner was later found and charged with Vehicle Hit and Run and was issued a citation.

No further information will be released by the Santa Ramona Sheriff's Department at this time.

02/24/2020 “Homicide”

On the evening of Monday 24th February SRSD Deputies were dispatched to a call of a body found over behind the Boiler Room near the Electric Distribution Station.

The male victim was shot once in the knee and once in the head and was pronounced on the scene by the Medical Examiner. A black card was found in the victims hand.

Evidence was found on the body that is currently assisting the SRSD in their investigation. The suspect is described as white, tall with long blond possibly dyed hair. Black or dark eye brows and facial hair and tattoo's on his hands. It is believed he is going under the name Erik 'King' Kingston, although this maybe an alias.

SRSD are appealing for information from anyone who might have any information on the where abouts of this male. Anyone with any information is encouraged to call SRSD on their non emergency line or via one of their other contact methods.

No further information will be released by the Santa Ramona Police Department at this time.

03/08/2020 ”Trespass and Animal Cruelty"

On the afternoon of Sunday March 8th, a SRSD Deputy was called to a disturbance at Wolfe's tavern. While attempting to deal with one suspect person on scene, another was ID to him as having previously been removed from the bar by security after making Criminal Threats to the owner regarding the burning down of the bar.

The female had returned and had a live uncaged rabbit with her. The Deputy attempted to get the female to leave with the rabbit while dealing with the other person. He called in back up. There was a disturbance in the doorway when the other suspect person was allowed to leave and got tangled up with incoming persons.

The rabbit got lose and the female suspect with the Deputy tried for a while to catch it, until the female suspect refused to continue any more. She was then told to leave again and Animal Control was called to deal with the rabbit. When she refused the SRSD Deputies attempted to arrest her for Trespass, she resisted arrest by grabbing the rabbit and fleeing upstairs to the second floor gallery.

With the assistance of Bar Security SRSD Deputies again attempted to arrest her at which point she throw the rabbit off of the gallery, causing it to hit the floor below and causing the death of the animal.

The female continued to resist for a while until SRSD Deputies threatened to Taze her then she complied. She was arrested for Trespass and Animal Cruelty as well as Failure to comply with Lawful Orders and Public Nuisance offenses.

Due to the suspects behavior SRSD had her assessed by a Psychiatric Doctor. She was placed on Pysch hold until she is able to deal with the charges against her.

03/11/2020 ”Homicide"

On the evening of Wednesday March 11th an on duty Deputy on her meal break was walking on the beach when she discovered a garbage bag with flies all around it and a smell coming from it, there was blood on the bag. The bag was open and severed legs were found in the bag.

Shortly after a Dispatcher also on her meal break found a second bag. Once opened it revealed a decapitated and dismembered torso inside. CSI and the Medical Examiner were called and the body parts were taken to the Morgue.

The following morning an another couple of on duty Deputies were out on patrol when they came across the third bag, but Boozies. This one contained a crushed and severed head, footprints were found at the location of the bag. CSI and the Medical Examiner were called and the head was removed to the morgue.

Later that same day, a forth bag was found, a civilian. 911 was called and this bag contained Severed Arms that seemed to have been sawed off at the shoulders.

The incident is currently under investigation and has been confirmed all the body parts belonged to the same individual.

SRSD are appealing for information from anyone who might have any information about the victim who has been named as Jenny Johannson and is believed to have been from Santa Fe, New Mexico or might of seen someone carrying black garbage bags about on the afternoon of March 11th to come forward and call them on their non emergency line or via one of their other contact methods.

03/12/20 “Attempted Homicide”

On the evening of Thursday 12th March a female showed up at the house of a bar owner who had previously asked her to leave the bar as she had been harassing the female owner a couple of days prior. The suspect had previously claimed to the SD that she had already killed 4 persons, this claim is uncorroborated at this time.

SRSD Deputies attempted to arrest the female earlier in the day, but she eluded them. Another female neighbor intervened and gun shots were exchanged. SRSD Deputies arrived on scene to find the suspect unconscious, she came round shortly after and stated to the Deputies that she had tried to kill the female.

The victim was transfered to SRGH with Gun Shot Wounds and was discharged a couple of days later.

The Female suspect was checked by the Jail Physician and was detained in custody.
