At around noon on Tuesday 05/07/2019 SRPD Officers were called to a scene on Retro St, after the caller had reported hearing gunshots in that area. The Officer went into the Bank where frightened staff confirmed they had heard gunshots close by as well.
After search the area for the source of the gunshots the SRPD Officer discovered a body in the alley between the Bank and the Movie Theatre next door. The body was that of a newly deceased male in his 30's later idenifed as Jasper Harper who had sustained gunshots to the head. SRPD Officers found shell casting close by. The death was ruled as Homicide by the Medical Examiner a few days later.
SRPD are appealing for information from anyone who might of been in or around the Retro St area prior to 12pm on the day or anyone with any information on either the suspect of the victim to contact them on their non emergency number.No further information will be released by the Santa Ramona Police Department at this time.
At around 2.30pm on Wednesday 05/08/2019 an SRPD Officer was called to a scene at the yard behind 'Madams Vault' on Scarlet St having been informed by the caller that she has found a 'dead' body.
The Officer arrive on the scene the caller crouched over the victim and apprently trying to fend off rats who were attempting to gnaw at the 'body'. The Officer cleared the scene to make sure on suspects were on scene. He then established that the victim was in fact still alive.
The victim had a 'duffel bag' wrapped around the upper part of one leg. It was saturated in blood. The Officer attempted to partially remove the bag to asses the conduction of the victim. He then found the victims leg was completely severed off.
The EMT's then arrived and were cleared to enter. The female victim was removed to SRGH. Subsequently a statement was obtained from her. She claimed she had attended the carnival and was talking to a clown and received a balloon animal for him. She then recalled nothing more until she later woke in a room lined with plastic and there was male present who was not the clown. The male then used a chainsaw to cut her leg off. She recalled hearing trucks starting up close by and suggested it may of been a garage.
SRPD are appealing for information from anyone who might have any information on the clown or how might recall a woman being carried anywhere on the afternoon or evening of 05/07 to contact them on their non emergency number.

At approximately 11pm on the night of 05/10/19, SRPD Officers were called to the scene of a stabbing at the Imperial Plaza Mall. They arrived to find a blond young woman in her 20's later identified as Trinity Summers a minor celebrity from Los Angeles, severely bleeding and in the care of EMT's, despite all there efforts to revived her she died from her wounds before reaching hospital.
A witness on scene claims to have seen the suspect fleeing after calling the deceased a 'cheap whore' among other things, after which the altercation escalated into a violence. The suspect was described as having medium tanned complexion, long dark curly hair and full frame with large breasts. The witness also claimed she believe she had seen the suspect before at another incident involving herself. The death was ruled as Homicide by the Medical Examiner a few days later.
SRPD are appealing for information from anyone who might of been in or around the Imperial Plaza Mall area prior to 11pm or anyone with any information on either the suspect of the victim to contact them on their non emergency number. At approximately 10am on Friday 05/17/2019 SRPD Officers were called to the scene of an attempted robbery and assault at 38 Scarlet Lane. On arrive the Officers found the suspect gone and a victim injured with a bandaged hand, they also found damage to the property.
The victim informed Officers that a male had entered the premises while she was in the back room. When she then went to investigate the noise she was tackled to the ground and collided with a spectator screen in the room. She attempted to disarm the suspect and drew her own weapon, the male then fired at her grazing her hand. She did however manage to scratch the attacker in the process.
Officers found a bullet casting on the scene, which along with skin fragments from the suspect was collected as evidence.
Another Officer arrived on scene to help secure it as a local youth was seen hanging around outside. Officers helped the victim ensure her security system was back online after the power outage the previous day.
SRPD are appealing for information from anyone who might of been in or around the Scarlet Lane area prior to 10am or anyone with any information on either the suspect of the victim to contact them on their non emergency number. SRPD is especially keen to speak to the youth that was seen hanging around. No further information will be released by the Santa Ramona Police Department at this time.
05/20/2019 “Officer Attacked”
At approximately 4.30pm on the evening of Monday 05/20/2019 an SRPD Officer was returning from his meal break via Mission Blvd. On passing the intersection with Shady St he observed another SRPD Officer and a male, known to SRPD. He stopped to acknowledge them when the male called out to him.
The other Officer was called off to attend a call out. The male then grabbed the SRPD Officer on scene and pushed him up against the side of Pho Noddle Shop. The Officer struggled and attempted to get away from the male who was ordered to desist and failed to comply. The male then proceed to press the Officer hard against the wall causing pain, while being verbally abusive to the Officer. The Officer was able to get his hand free and withdrew his firearm, the Officer then warned the male that if he did not let him go he would shoot him. The male then attempted to goad the Officer into doing that. The Officer then aimed at the male who then pushed the Officers downwards and brought his knee up to make contact with the base of the Officers chest area. The Officer momentarily passed out and dropped his gun.
The Officer came round but was having difficulty breathing. He did however manage to withdrew his taser and aim it at the male, who then walked away around the corner into Shady Street. The Officer still finding it difficult to breath persuaded him. The other SRPD Officer who had been on the scene previously then returned and intervened.
The male was arrested for Battery of a Police Officer and taken into custody. There is a known grudge by the male in questions towards the particular SRPD Officer involved. The SRPD Officer then took himself to SRGH to get checked over and it was found he had some general bruising in the lower lung area. The SRPD Officer is back on duty.No further information will be released by the Santa Ramona Police Department at this time.
05/21/19 “Alien attackers?”
At approximately 5pm on the evening of Tuesday 05/21/19, a young woman came into the PD to report and incident that had taken place the night before. The young woman claimed that the previous evening a male youth approx 19 years of age and known to the young woman, come into her store on Shady Street he appeared to be high on some unknown drugs and was claiming to being chased by 'aliens'.
The youth then pulled a knife out when another woman entered the store. She appears to have attempted to aggravate the situation by trying to make the youth stab the store owner. A male friend arrived on the scene and pulled a gun on the youth and the altercation then appears to have continued outside the store.
An off duty SRPD Officer happened to be close by and the youth fled when he announced himself as a Police Officer. Uniformed Officers then arrived at the scene and brought it under control. All those on scene were released without charges.
The youth is known to SRPD and wanted for questioning in regards to an armed robbery a few weeks ago. SRPD hopes arrests will be made in due course.No further information will be released by the Santa Ramona Police Department at this time.
05/22/2019 “Break In”
At approximately 7pm on the evening of Wednesday 05/22/2019 SRPD Officers responded to call out to 43 Pacific Ave after a report was called in of a home alarm going off. Officers arrived on scene to find a young female previously known to them heading towards the stairs. She was then approached and apprehended by the Officers. When asked why she had broken into the residence she claimed she was 'junkie' and looking for a snack.
Evidence of forced entry in the form shattered glass was found in the vicinity of the of the side window to the back yard.
The young female was arrested and taken into custody. It was also found that she had a previous warrant and was detained for that also.No further information will be released by the Santa Ramona Police Department at this time.
05/23/2019 “Rabid Sheep”
At approximately 3.30 in the afternoon of Thursday 05/23/2019 SRPD Officers were dispatched to the church on Vestral St after reports that there were 'rabid sheep' in the cemetery. The Officers were informed by the Priest that there was CCTV footage showing a Uhaul Truck driving up and dropping the sheep off at cemetery earlier in the day. They were shown the footage. The priest also informed the Officers that he had had a veterinarian already examined them and suspected they may indeed have rabies. As several sheep had escaped the fence in the cemetery the SRPD Officers attempted to capture them. Due to the threat of Rabies the captured sheep were destroyed. CSI arrived and tested the animals for COD. The Uhaul was found abandon in the sewer outlet next to the the church.
A supervisor arrived on scene later and assisted CSI with collection of evidence and assisted the FD in retrieving the Uhaul from the water. No bodies were found in the Uhaul or nearby, no persons with injuries consistent with having jumped from a moving vehicle were reported to have presented at either SRGH or SSOC. The Supervisor on scene and the Chief determined from position,tire marks and the impact fractures on the retaining wall that the Uhaul had been purposely driven into the outlet. The Uhaul truck was not reported as stolen and SRPD are currently involved in an on going investigation into the register hirer of the truck.
The municipal incinerator staff called SRPD later to confirm they had found an upside down cross carved into the forehead of one of the animals. SRPD Dispatched Officers to investigate.
As several sheep were at large in the city for sometime prior to capture its unclear at this time if anyone was bitten. No calls about bites were received. However due to the potential the Centre for Disease Control (CDC) has been informed.

05/24/19 “Possible Suicide”
At 8.30 in the evening of Friday 05/24/2019 an SRPD Officer who was on having a coffee break at Creamy Centers Cafe, gunshot go off in the vicinity City Hall, she then went over to investigate. The Officer arrived at the scene to find body of a young female on the ground. She had an ID card clenched in her teeth and a gun was at her side and note was found with her.
EMT's were called for and arrived shortly after and the victim as pronounced dead on the scene and transported to the morgue. SRPD are currently at time of printing waiting for an autopsy report. The death appears to have been suicide, however the contents of the note and way it was written suggest otherwise. Evidence is still being analysed at the time of printing. No further information will be released by the Santa Ramona Police Department at this time.
On the evening of Friday 05/24/2019 an SRPD Officer who off duty was having a drink with a woman in Wolfe's Tavern. Later after getting home he discovered his wallet was missing. The Officer stated he had not been out of the house since then and always keeps his wallet secured. He believes the woman must of taken the wallet out of his pocket. The female is described as about 5 ft 5 inches with a light skin complexion. Jamaican accent possibly heavy. She was last seen wearing a light green skinny bra and thong. High heel shoes that were red in color.
SRPD are appealing for information from anyone who might of been in or around the Wolfes Tavern area on the evening of Friday May 24th or anyone with any information regard the suspect to contact them on their non emergency number.
