From the Mayors Office.

In past elections the City of Santa Ramona had an entire council behind the mayor, made up a various persons from all over the City. We have also had at least one previous who was living in and a very active voice in the South side. In both these situations plans were put in place to help the people of that area. They did not do enough or produce the desired results.

This supposed divide between North and South is something that is more prevalent to the residents of the South side than anyone else. It is the residents from that area of the City who mostly perpetuate this idea. This office recognizes that the 'South side' faces a different set of challenges to those of the North side, it also considers Santa Ramona Valley as one City. What happens in one place effects everyone not just the resident of a particular area. This office believes it is time to stop thinking of a divided City.

To address the matter of the clean up program in the City. This incentive...

Business Owner: Lock N Load
Resident of Southside Santa Ramona Valley

Proposal to change the political structure of Santa Ramona Valley to allow for more inclusiveness.

In past elections we have had a one sided elected mayor that could not possibly know the best course of action for the complex and diverse residents of the city of Santa Ramona Valley.  There was no way to ensure that both the Northside and Southside were adequately accounted for in proposals that had direct dealings with their areas of town.  There are two very different sides of town, for instance:

*Businesses such as Lock N Load, Black Thorn, Alley Cats, The Southside Clinic, The Gateway House, the Adult Store, all drive down property values.  These businesses are not welcome in Northside for that reason and Southside needs to keep rents to a level affordable to those that live here.  It's a divide that both sides must accept and encourage.

*Specialty boutiques and stores that sell expens...

From the Sheriff's Department

To take effective action by vigorous law enforcement, accessible treatment and a new emphasis on education and prevention to:

● Increase the safety of communities from drug-related crime;
● Reduce the acceptability and availability of drugs to young people; and
● Reduce the health risks and other damage related to drug misuse.

What is the issue?

Santa Ramona Valley is struggling to overcome challenges associated with drug use, such as the spread of disease, issues related to homelessness, rising rates of overdose deaths, and drug related crime.

There is a revolving door phenomenon, in which people are arrested, detained, and released—only to be arrested again and in which police are called to engage and detain people who clearly need social support or physical and mental health services instead.

It is therefore proposed to introduce the following measures to assist drug users. This proposal does not address drug dealers and would not extend protections...

The Sheriff's Department stands on the principles of Pride, Integrity and Grit.  We believe in supporting our community and helping those in need. SRV has many that struggle to put food on the table. To help, the SD is sponsoring a fund raiser. Funds raised will go to area food banks and senior meal programs.

For $25 any business or individual can purchase a pig cutting board and the materials to design and decorate your cutting board. You choose the design and theme of your cutting board. Could be a logo of your business or a riff on "roasting the PIGS" of the SD.

In addition the SD is hosting a PIG roast with all the trimmings on June 27th from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. SLT. To attend bring one small box of canned or boxed food. There will be roast pig and crab legs, along with a smorgasbord of other California delights, cash bar and a DJ for dancing down by the beach.

Completed PIG cutting boards ((just the texture, full perm)) can be submitted to Sheriff Sarina Jade Ramirez ((Madis...

Santa Ramona Sheriff’s Department are looking for a missing woman, Grace Kelly, aged 24 with reddish brown and blue eyes.

A recent photo of Grace Kelly.

She is from Anyplace, WA and was visiting California with a friend. Her friend said they heard of a party in Santa Ramona Valley. Grace went out early on Wednesday morning from the hotel where they were staying and never returned. She had been checking in with her parents ever day, but she didn’t do so that day.

The friend contacted the parents when Grace did not return that morning. They waited twenty-four hours without hearing from her. Her parents then contacted the PD in Anyplace, who contacted the Santa Ramona Sheriff’s department at around five thirty on Friday morning.

Anyone who has any information about Grace’s current whereabouts or her movements since Wednesday morning, or has seen her, please contact the Santa Ramona Sheriff’s Department.
